Structured lessons for the four science understanding themes:

• Heredity and evolution — mitosis, meiosis, DNA and genes, Mendelian patterns; natural selection and evidence for evolution.
• Universe and global climate — Big Bang evidence; redshift and cosmic background; Earth’s spheres and climate drivers.
