Science understanding

Structured lessons for the four science understanding themes:

• Heredity and evolution — four units: mitosis, meiosis, DNA and genes; Mendelian patterns; natural selection and evidence; mixed practice.
• Universe and global climate — Big Bang evidence; redshift and cosmic background; Earth’s spheres and climate drivers.
• Motion and forces — Four units (motion language, first, second and third laws); using with SI units.
• Atoms, periodic table and reactions — Four lesson units (structure, periodic trends, reaction types, rates); links to the same quiz as before.
